Russia's nuclear capabilities are in much worse shape than those of the United States. This was stated by the former head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine, Army General Mykola Malomuzh.

He states that he knows well the state of Russian nuclear facilities.

He noted that Russia's nuclear potential is not comparable to that of the United States.

— In Russia, it’s 70-80% lower, because these are the systems that today have not undergone rehabilitation, and therefore have not undergone routine maintenance, and the huge potential of routine work was carried out at one time by the Yuzhnoye CB. This has not been done for decades now. According to experts, most of these nuclear weapons will not work and should fall on the territory of the Russian Federation itself,” he said.
