Results of the anonymous survey recently held among journalists of state-run media in Homel, have evoked response among Homel citizens. It looks like another result that one of the workers of the state-run TV company “Homel” has been forced to hand back several filled out questionnaires to her bosses. She has been warned that the matter will be “investigated”.
As we have informed, journalists of independent and state-run media had been offered to assess their work and their mass media according to eighteen criteria. According to the results of the poll, such problems as deficit of informational content and exactnesses headed the list among state-run media representatives. The problem of self-censorship has been mentioned rather often as well. Neutrality has taken the last position, the Belarusian Association of Journalists’ press-service informs.
