Solidarity will help to change situation in Belarus

The day of Belarusian Solidarity is celebrated in Belarus and all over the world today, November, 16. The actions calling the Belarusian authorities to release political prisoners and start democratic reforms will be organised in European and US cities.
People will light candles in windows as a sign of solidarity and come out to squares to pay tribute to missing people and political prisoners and call the authorities to settle down to a course of reforms.
Street actions of solidarity, conferences, exhibitions, film presentations devoted to Belarus will take place in many parts of the world – Poland, Ukraine, Russia, France, Germany, Belgium, Czech Republic, the USA on November,16.
Days of Solidarity with Belarus are held every 16th day of month to express solidarity with relatives of missing oppositionists in Belarus, political prisoners and all people who are struggling for freedom and democracy in Belarus.
We remind that the reason of imposed by the USA sanctions against Belneftekhim was refusal of the Belarusian authorities to release the political prisoners, stop repressions against the opposition and hold free election.
