Candidate for presidency in Georgia criticised Lukashenka

3

Levan Gachechiladze, the united opposition’s candidate for a post of Georgian President, said he saw no sense for Georgia to remain in the CIS. In his opinion, the country shouldn’t be member of the organisation, whose member is Aliaksandr Lukashenka.

“Personally I don’t see sense to stay in the organisation, where the anti-democratic processes are taking place,” he said during the TV link-up Tbilisi-Moscow, organised by RIA Novosti.

We remind that the current president of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili have criticised the official Minsk for violation of human rights and absence of basic democratic freedoms in Belarus.
