Human rights activist Uladzimer Vyalichkin said Radio Svaboda that riot police detained some public activists near the building of Consulate General of Russia in Brest.

“The young people carried posters “No unions with Russia!” in hands and shouted “Putin, go home!” After a while two cars with riot police drove up to the consulate. Nasta Ilyina and Andrei Sharenda have been detained. They have passports on them, but riot policemen are going to guard them to the police department of Brest Leninski District,” Uladzimer Vyalichkin said.
