Entrepreneurs Viktar Kalei and Alyaksandr Tsatsura were released from the jail on Akrestin Street. They were sentenced to 10 days of arrest on 11 December.
Alyaksandr Tsatsura said in his first interview at large to Radio Svaboda that he was serving his term in the same cell with Viktar Ivashkevich, deputy head of the Belarusian Popular Front. He keeps cheerful, Alyaksandr Tsatsura says:
“I’m angry and intent on work. I wrote an article “Police Outrage.” They took the notebook away, and said: “it’s about us.” I answer: “But it’ll remain in my mind.” I composed verses there, though I have never done it before. I read aloud to the cell mates, they praised,” Tsatsura said.
It should be reminded that besides Viktar Ivashkevich, entrepreneurs’ leaders Viktar Garbachou, Viktar Kryval and public activist Mikalai Syargiyenka are kept in the jail on Akrestin Street.
