Belarusians are told about proposals of the EU

12:10, — Politics

The activists of the “For Freedom” movement in Homel have spread more than 500 informational booklets “What the European Union can give Belarus” for the last days. The booklets were spread among city dwellers and students of Francisk Skaryna Homel State University.

Together with the booklets Homel citizens got the leaflets in support of Zmiter Zhaleznichenka – the democratic activist who was expelled from Francisk Skaryna Homel State University for political reasons.

The “For Freedom” movement has organized an action, during which the activists inform the Belarusians about the advantages Belarus may have from joining the European Neighborhood Policy if it fulfills the 12 proposals made by the EU. The activists of the “For Freedom” movement spread the booklets “What the European Union can give Belarus” near the underground stations, administrative buildings and other public places. They also tell people what advantages Belarus may have cooperating with the EU.
