Entrepreneurs: «Even more people come to the Square on 21 January!»

Only two from six organisers of the protest of entrepreneurs on 10 January - Alyaksandr Taustyka and Viktar Kryval are out of prison today. “The entrepreneurs haven’t given up their efforts. The beginning was when six applicants for a strike for 10 December didn’t renounce their idea. They haven’t receded and stepped backward. This tendency is being continued. There were few times more people on the square on 10 January,” leader of entrepreneurs Viktar Kryval said in the interview to Radio Svaboda.
“None of us has given up the plans. So there must be even more people on 21 January. By the way, it was me who suggested to gather every 10, 20, 30 day of a month, and in the periods between these dates near the local administrations. If entrepreneurs, and especially employees, come to the administrative buildings, people deprived of benefits will join them. In Uzda, for example, people, who want to buy something, don’t know what to do. Because everything is closed,” the entrepreneur said.
On the question have such means of suppression the rally as arrests, beating of the arrested people scared the entrepreneurs, Viktar Kryval answered:
“They will hardly manage to do it. Why? I’ve already said: the first applicants haven’t scared. 21 January will show what conclusions they have drawn. It’s normal, that organisers of demonstrations of entrepreneurs, unlike those of political actions, are people from regions. From Gomel, Saligorsk, Barysau, Uzda... I think the authorities will do the following. Firstly, they will detain people and demonstrate us their alleged vigour, oppose us. Secondly, they will try to postpone our actions by all means. They will suggest through their people among the entrepreneurs: let’s do it on 10 February, or later, but not on 21 January. But the longer they delay the solving of the problem, the more profitable it is for the authorities,” the entrepreneur thinks.
