“The authorities shouldn’t stay hard and fast, rotation should take place,” Alyaksandr Lukashenka stated, presenting Mikalay Damashkevich in the position of the head of the department of Presidential affairs.

As said by him, appointment of the new head of the department is “a natural process, and it shouldn’t be taken as an extraordinary event”. “Nobody is wasting cadres. It’s an inoculation against stagnation,’ A. Lukashenka noted. “One shouldn’t think it’s a kind of reckless actions in emergency situation. I will never allow that myself,” he noted.

The Belarusian ruler has stated that professional qualities of the former head of the department of Presidential affairs Alyaksandr Kulichkou would be in demand. It is expected that A. Kulichkou is to take a position in the structures of the so-called “union state” of Belarus and Russia.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka is also disquieted by the sanctions imposed by the US against Belneftekhim.

“Today we have very important problems to solve. We should solve them despite of a certain pressure, intimidation and some sanctions imposed,” Lukashenka said, presenting Mikalay Damashkevich in the position of the head of the department of Presidential affairs.
