Special Effects for American Films to be Created in Belarusian High Technologies Park

In the near future concrete proposals on foundation of an enterprise for creating computer special effects for Hollywood films in the Belarusian park of High Technologies. BELTA has been informed about that by the director of the administration of the Park of High Technologies Valery Tsapkala.

About 50% of the budget of Hollywood films is costs of special effects. As said by Valery Tsapkala, it is possible to develop such activities in the Park of High Technologies, including 3D-modelling, computer graphics and animation. Besides, there is an intention to create a wideband Internet-access in the Park of High Technologies. It is necessary to transfer large files, which is technically impossible now. At the moment “Beltelekom” has stated readiness to invest funds to realization of the project.

It could be an interesting project for the High Technologies Park, Valery Tsapkala noted. It is orientated to the export, and Belarusian experts that are not enough in demand now, would be involved in it.
