Reconstruction in Nyasvizh: no more Radzivil’s Palace (Photo)

15:29, — Culture

Radzivil’s Palace looks as if it had suffered from bomb attack.

It catches the eye that there is no a three-storey gallery: only a back wall was left on its site, the rest being ruined. The official reason: allegedly there was no basement, and it stood only by a miracle. The officials forget to add that the wall has stood for 300 years, Polskie Radio reports.

A beautiful porte-cochere was ruined. It is explained it was “new”: it was build only in 19 century. The main bridge to the palace is planned to be ruined. It is also “new,” it has only 100 years.

Others pavilions are also being reconstructed in a barbarian way. Not restores, but ordinary builders from Nyasvizh, Saligorsk, Slutsk, Baranavichy work there. Multiple glass units, plastic doors, marble floors and modern ordinary bricks have appeared in Radzivil’s Palace...
