George Bush: «US supporting freedom in Belarus»

George Bush said in his annual State of the Union address the US is supporting freedom in Belarus. “America is supporting freedom in countries from Cuba and Zimbabwe to Belarus and Burma,” the US president said.
He called on the US lawmakers to support the international aid program Millennium Challenge Account. “This program strengthens democracy, transparency and the rule of law in developing nations, and I ask you to fully fund this important initiative,” head of the White House declared.
Apart from the US activity in development democracy in the world and win over tyranny, the main subjects of Bush’s final address were the economic situation in the USA and war in Iran.
The presidential election in the United States is to be held in November, 2008.
