Finance Minister: Belarus Needs Russian loan

Finance Minister of Belarus Mikalay Korbut has confirmed Belarus interest in attracting new Russian stabilization loan.

“We have raised the issue of a new Russian loan,” Korbut said to journalists on Wednesday. He has also noted that Finance Ministry of Belarus is set to place state at the Russian market, but it is necessary to solve specific questions of taxation. Besides, “Russian money are more expensive now,” he said as quoted by Interfax.
