Mahilyou Vendors Passed Their Demands to Authorities

1

About a hundred and a half market vendors were standing for about 2 hours on Lenin Square in Mahilyou. They were waiting for a statement of a working group of market vendors who was to formulate demands to the government of Belarus and Lukashenka yesterday.

Before the noon representative of the working group, a chairperson of one of city councils of entrepreneurs Larysa Vysotsina told that demands were formulated and sent to Minsk.

The demands amount to two issues:

1. To set a moratorium on operation of the presidential Decree No. 760 until the Law “On small and medium business in Belarus” would be adopted.

2. To advance adoption of the Law “On small and medium business in Belarus”. Representatives of entrepreneurs should take part in its elaboration.

Entrepreneurs approved these demands and decided to gather on the square on January 10 again, Radio Svaboda informs.
