Borodin: “Whole Europe will join the union state with its capital in Minsk”

“Everything I say comes true. The whole Europe will join the union state, and its capital will be in Minsk – the center of Europe,” state secretary of the “union state” Pavel Borodin said during his visit to Minsk.
A matter of adoption a common currency in the “union state” may be settled up within 1–2 years, Borodin thinks. He explained that Belarus and Russia today are a single economic area, that is proved by a natural process of formation of Customs Union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan. However, the two countries need to conduct a clear pricing, credit and fiscal policy.
The official also reminded that there was an idea of creation of a transport corridor linking Europe and Asia. Borodin thinks the world economy unites all people. “We have different religions, but we live on the same plants, so we need to negotiate,” he said.
