Villas where militia officers live (Photo)

After a recent session on corruption, where Lukashenka ordered to dismiss some prosecutors and instigate criminal cases against them for building of million dollar villas, journalists have become interested in how other Belarusian officials live.

“Narodnaya Volya” newspaper decided to take pictures of a paradisal place mentioned by Lukashenka at the session. According to the newspaper, houses of high ranking officials of the Ministry of Internal Affaires and the Prosecutor’s Office of Belarus are built in this picturesque place only tens meters of Minsk Reservoir. Not one pine-tree had to be cut down and a path had to be laid for construction of mansions on the pictures. Did no one see before this grand scale construction in the resort zone (near Belorusochka resting house)? Land must cost incredibly high here.

Even more luxurious villas were built in Drazdy settlement near Minsk, close to Lukashenka’s residence, by other high ranking Belarusian officials. However, the Belarusian ruler didn’t say a single word about them at the anti-corruption session.
