Pastors of more than 40 Belarusian churches which are members of the Full Gospel Association, addressed Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
In the letter they expressed their concern in connection with increased pressure on Protestant churches. Special emphasis was laid on confrontation of the authorities of the capital and Minsk church “New Life”. The European Radio has been informed about that by the lawyer of New Life Church Syarhei Lukanin.
“It is stated in this letter that in case the authorities would continue pressure on the bishop of our association, Vyachaslau Hancharenka (Goncharenko), all churches of the Association would resort to civil disobedience all over Belarus,” Lukanin underlined.
Syarhei Lukanin has noted that now Full Gospel Christians are ready to move from prayers to open actions, including political rallies.
