Do parents take blame for children? 3

9:28, — Politics

After the rallies of entrepreneurs on 10 and 21 January, in which 17-year-old Alena Makarevich took active part, her mother was called to the KGB department of the Frunzenski district upon pain of dismissal. She was offered to sign a statement saying Alena wouldn’t engage in public activity.

The girl’s mother denied the offer. Then the KGB agents threaten to initiate a criminal case on the article 193.1 (participation in unregistered organisation) against her daughter. The mother was shown some slides shot at the European March and the recent rallies of entrepreneurs, where Alena could be noticed, the Young Front press service reports.

The KGB agents explained to the woman, they had received an order to initiate a criminal case against the Young Front member after the European March, but it had been decided later to close this case. If Alena continues participating in protest actions, the criminal case will be reopened.
