EP President demands release Kazulin

Hans-Gert Pöttering criticised harshly the Belarusian authorities during the Belarusian Week in the European Parliament dedicated to the BNR 90th anniversary.
Head of the European Parliament said negotiations with the official Minsk would be impossible until political prisoner Alyaksandr Kazulin was released.
Head of the Commission for External Relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner said, in turn, the signing a contract with Belarus on opening the European Commission office was by no means cooperation with the Belarusian regime. She said it was a step forward the Belarusian people, but conditions of Europe for the Belarusian authorities remained the same. Ms Ferrero-Waldner denied the information the West liberalised relations with Alyaksandr Lukashenka, Polskie Radio reports.
