Riot militia officers dispersed people, who came today to the Tsentralny district court to support opposition activists having trial there.

About 70 people came to the court to support the activists. Some dozens of youth activists held portraits of participants of the “trial of 14.” But riot militia officers, who encircled the court building, began to force them out. More than 10 riot militiamen convoyed them to the Svislach River to the metro station Pershamaiskaya.

Participants of the rallies of entrepreneurs, held this winter, have trial in the Tsentralny district court of Minsk16 April. Judge Alena Illina reviews the case.

10 people - Andrei Kim (who is in custody since 31 January), Mikhas Pashkevich, Alyaksei Bondar, Uladzimir Syarheeu, Artsyom Dubski, Ales Straltsou, Andrei Charnyshou, Anton Koipish, Mikhas Kryvau, and Tatsyana Tsishkevich, - have trail today.

Four persons - Alyaksandr Barazenka, Paval Vinahradau, Mikhas Subach, and Maksim Dashuk, didn’t have time to learn the material of the case and trial over them has been postponed sine die.

The people are accused of participation in the protest rally on 10 January, which gathered about 5 thousand people. They blocked Independence Avenue protesting against discriminative Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s decrees.
