Syarhei Parsyukevich: truth is stronger and we will win

12:06, — Politics

The Committee for Defence of the Repressed “Salidarnast” received a letter from Sayrhei Parsyukevich, Vitsebsk entrepreneur and political prisoner.

Syarhei is thankful to everyone, who writes to him, for moral support. According to him, any information from liberty has a special meaning for a prisoner, and support of friends and relatives can hardly be overestimated.

Syarhei thinks the acting regime rests on severe repressions, because it has exhausted all other means for its further existence. But support of authorities is decreasing day by day, and their patience will snap.

“God won’t leave our country. Truth is stronger and we will win,” Sayrhei Parsyukevich ends his letter.

He asks to send him empty envelopes together with letters.

Syarhei Parsyukevich is kept in pre-trial detention center on Valadarski Street on a criminal case, initiated against him for allegedly beating up of a prison guard during his serving of administrative arrest for participation in the entrepreneurs’ action on 10 January.

The case was sent to Maskouski district court of Minsk on 31 March, but the date for trial hasn’t been set yet.
