Chair of Union of Poles in Belarus restricted to leave the country 3

The chairman of the organisation not recognized by the regime, the Union of Poles in Belarus, Andzelika Borys is to pay a fine of $250. Besides, she cannot leave Belarus.

The same administrative punishment has been also receive d by the editor-in-chief of the magazine “Magazyn Polski” Ihar Bantsar. Polish activists were fined for their being in a frontier zone.

On April 13 in Voranava district, in the settlement of Radun frontier guards of Hrodna border guard detachment detained the leader of the public association the Union of Poles in Belarus Andzelika Borys, a reporter of the magazine “Magazyn Polski” Ihar Bantsar, a driver of the car and 8 Polish citizens.

The detained activists were registered as violators of the frontier regime. Reports of administrative violation have been draw up against the three citizens of Belarus.
