Do Babrujsk authorities have no objections to Fascist swastika?

A swastika and a gallows with a Star of David have been “decorating” one of bus stops of Babrujsk for more than half a year.

The insulting graffiti emerged in autumn last year. Babrujsk dwellers seem to view this picture simply as a part of the landscape. At least, passengers do not show any discontent openly, a web-source Bulletinonline writes.

Unfortunately, this kind of vandalism has become ordinary for Babrusjk.

The question of cleaning the property owned by the town from all kind of graffiti was discussed at a meeting in the town executive committee in April. A special brigade of Belarusian communal services has been created to paint over unsanctioned writings.

What makes the situation specific is that the bus stop in Kiselyevichy doesn’t belong to any authority in fact. As said by the office of the town property management, if there is a vending at a bus stop, its owner is responsible for cleanness of its walls. And as there is no kiosk, nobody is responsible. A bus stop is nobody’s concern.
