Russian Express Gazeta said it, noting that while Russia needs to construct 273 Olympic projects for 6 years before Olympics, Belarus had ended its building activity.
The main feature of the Belarusian president’s residence is openness. Any high-ranked or ordinary Belarusian official may live here in absence of the head of state. Mr Alyaksandr will personally choose candidates for holidays in his villa and send them to the mountain resort.
Such holiday is considered to be elite and cheap for the Belarusian officials, who can’t receive visas.
“Houses owned by Nikolai Patrushev, head of the Russian FSB, and Vladimir Ustiov, Ministry of Justice, stay near the Lukashenka’s one. They are much more modest than the president’s house, but Russian security officials visit Krasnaya Polyana much more rarely than Mr Alyaksandr,” Russian journalist note.
