Chernobyl Way held in New York (Photo)

On April 26 near the building of the UN Headquarters in New York the Belarusian Yiouth movement of America held a picket dedicated to the 22nd anniversary of the technogenic catastrophe at Chernobyl nuclear power station.

As the BealPAN was informed by organizers of the rally, about 35 persons from different states of the US (New York, Maine and others) have taken part in it.

The chairman of the Conservative Christian party Belarusian Popular Front Zyanon Paznyak addressed the meeting. The politician told about the tragedy in 1986 and about its aftermaths, reminded about the situation in Belarus and called upon young people to active fight with the dictatorial regime/

Members of the Belarusian youth movement told those present about their activities and what is possible to make by joint efforts to help Motherland.
