Entire enterprises herd into “Belaya Rus” 15

9:45, — Politics

Staff at industrial sites of the production association “Belaruskaliy” is actively prepared for joining the pro-governmental organization.

As workers of the 4th concentrating plant said, during the shift they were given statute of that ‘public association’ and they were ordered to read it and subscribe their name to a document stating they had read it. After that rumours were that all workers would be forced to join the organization, Bulletinonline writes.

It is likely that such hurry is connected with the upcoming parliamentary electrons. It is understandable that the public organization which works under the auspices of the state and for reinforcing of the state power, is given green light everywhere, but what about the Law, which guarantees equal conditions for all public associations and political parties acting at the territory of Belarus?

Proceeding from this, any registered public associations, political parties and trade unions now have a right to come to “Belaruskaliy” with their statutes and acquaint people with them in detail. It is interesting how many new members would the Belarusian Popular Front, the United Civil Party, the Young Front or oppositional Communists would find in this way?

“By the way, I asked the administration whether representatives of the women’s party “Nadzeja”, -- a worker Natallya said.

However the answer of the administration was predictable: firstly, “Nadzeja” had been closed, so it cannot act from its name, and secondly, it is not the organization needed by the state.
