Lord Bell’s plan lost?

10

Neither the Presidential Administration nor the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus saw Lord Bell’s plan on improving image of the Belarusian authorities.

British PR advisor Timothy Bell, who had worked out a plan on Lukashenka’s order, told in the interview to «EuroRadio», the documents had been already sent to Minsk and should have been received by Lukashenka.

But Pavel Lyogki, Lukashenka’s spokesman, says he didn’t see any Lord Bell’s plans and advised to address to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus:

“I have received nothing from Lord Bell. I’m a head of press service, and I’m not the man you need. He may have his channels of conveying the information. I suppose you’d better refer to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” Pavel Lyogki explained.

Maria Vanshyna, spokeswoman of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said she couldn’t say anything about the question, because the press service knew nothing about existence of the document.

It was said in the receiving room of MFA head Syarhei Martynau the main diplomat is on a long-term business trip, so nobody saw the plan of the British PR advisor. They recommended to refer to the ministerial office.

But it was found out there, that they received no letters from British Lord Bell.

As nobody in Belarus saw Bell’s document, but the British lord says he has already sent it to Lukashenka, there are two explanations of its absence: either the plan on improving image of the Belarusian authorities was sent directly to Lukashenka, or diplomatic mail works bad.
