Military assistance to Venezuela discussed at closed session of Belarusian “parliament”

Belarusian air defence specialists will help their Venezuelan colleagues to create an effective system of air defence.
Possibility of such assistance has been discussed at today’s closed session of the “house of representatives” today. According to one of the “parliament” members, who asked not to say his name, no important information was discussed at the session, Radio Svaboda reports.
“Everything has been already discussed earlier,” the MP told. On the question why then it was necessary to hold a closed session, the “deputy” said: “The Venezuelan party asked it.”
The deputies ratified an agreement between Belarus and Venezuela on assistance in air defence system building.
