Belarusian will never be a slave (Photo)

A new banner has appeared today on the bridge above Zhukov and Dzerzhinsky Avenues’ crossing. Activists of the civil campaign “European Belarus” wrote “Belarusian will never be a slave” on the banner.

One of the participants of the action explained: “Our country marks Victory Day on 9 May. We have timed the event to this holiday. “Belarusian will never be a slave!” was a title of a partisan leaflet – call to fighting against the occupants. Our forefathers bore out these words in the World War II and other previous wars. But a threat of losing the independence has remained. Today we, the young Belarusians, say we will never be slaves and will be able to defend our Belarus!”
