Lukashenka: “More problems are caused by Americans” 11

13:32, — Politics

At the meeting with Nikolai Bordyuzha, Secretary General of the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Alyaksandr Lukashenka has broached the issue of the US sanctions imposed against his regime.

Belarus and Russia form a core of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and are to solve problems in the area of the CSTO action together, Alyaksandr Lukashenka told during the today’s meeting.

“We are behaving decently; we understand that it is an area of responsibility not only in the framework of the “union state” with Russia, but in the CSTO as well. In CSTO Belarus and Russia are a core and we will have to solve these problems together,” A. Lukashenka said.

He explained that at the moment there are problems with the European Union, though there are less of them now. As said by the Belarusian ruler, “more problems are caused by Americans”. “I do not know why they are so insistent in their efforts of pressure on Belarus”, Lukashenka said.

In his turn, Nikolai Bordyuzha agreed that situation is rather tense in a number of regions of the world, and specifically in central Asia. He has also added that “Belarus is one of the most active countries which concern themselves with issues of collective security responsibly and seriously”.

As Nikolai Bordyuzha told to journalists later during his meeting with Lukashenka issues of improving military interaction were discussed as well.
