Chavez to come to Lukashenka on Russian tank

The exact date of the visit of Venezuelan p[resident to Belarus has been defined. Hugo Chavez to arrive to Minsk on a working visit on July 23.
However first Chavez is to meet with Russian president Dmitry Medvedev. Russian and Venezuelan presidents are to have negotiations on Tuesday, the Kremlin’s press-service informed. It is confirmed that Chavez to visit Russian on July 22-23 on the invitation of the Russian leader with a working visit.
It is expected that Chavez will discuss with the Russian leadership issues of military, technical and trade and economic cooperation improvement between Moscow and Caracas.
As informed by Spanish agency Efe, a purchase of a batch of armored fighting vehicles by Venezuela to be discussed at the talks.
Hugo Chavez visited Belarus twice. Last time he was here in summer 2007. Alyaksandr Lukashenka was in Venezuela on an official visit in December last year.
