Bandit methods: Windows broken in activist’s house

Iryna Veshtort, activist of the Belarusian Social Democratic Party (Hramada), believes that it has been made purposefully.
The woman told to Radio Svaboda she was awaked by sound of broken windows at about 1.30 at night. According to Iryna Veshtort, two small stones were thrown at the window. The owner of the flat is sure it was a purposeful action, because her apartment is on the second floor of a nine-floor building, and stones couldn’t be thrown occasionally.
On 23 July door lock to Iryna Vershtort’s apartment was damaged, and the door was drawn with black paint the day before. Veshtort thinks someone tried to scare her in order for her to give up on running in the “electoral campaign”.
Iryna told she said to militiamen who had come to her at night that nobody would be able to make give up on running in the “electoral campaign”.
