Belarusian authorities say they ready to develop relations with Iran 2

Belarus and Iran have good prospects of developments of their relations, chairman of the “council of republic” of the “national assembly” of Belarus Henadz Navitski said at the meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Belarus Abdolhamid Fekri in Minsk.

“Our relations become more intensive,” the speaker stated. “The volume of trade between our countries has almost doubled for the years of your staying in Belarus.” Henadz Navitski also noted that forming of a contractual basis between Belarus and Iran is fruitful.

Abdolhamid Fekri in his turn stressed the level of the today’s trade volume was only the beginning of the builateral cooperation. “Joint projects, which are carried on or will be conducted in the nearest future, are estimated at billions dollars,” the ambassador remained.

Abdolhamid Fekri on behalf of Irani parliament speaker Ali Larijani invited Henadz Navitski to visit Iran for joint inter-parliamentary consultations.
