Portrait of Lukashenka to be made in Poland of carrots, beets, and radishes

The celebration of the 440th anniversary of signing the Union of Lublin will be held in Lublin on July 1.

This event will be celebrated by the presidents of Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, Estonia, and Latvia, “Nasha Niva” newspaper reports.

Belarus will be represented by Stanislau Shushkevich, the former chairman of the Supreme Council. Alyaksandr Lukashenka wasn’t invited.

However, the Belarusian ruler will be represented by an installation by Lithuanian performer Redo Diržio, created on the occasion.

A portrait of Lukashenka made of carrots, beets, and radishes wil appear on the lawn near the Palace of Culture in Lublin.

Radish is growing faster than other vegetables. The organizers fear the portrait won’t grow on time due to bad weather. All comer will be able to taste vegetable from the portrait of the Belarusian ruler.
