Lukashenka starts to reshuffle Council of Ministers

The Belarusian leader has considered the question of personnel and adopted a decision to appoint a number of new ministers.

Alyaksandr Lukashenka has appointed Alyaksandr Radzevich Industry Minister. Earlier this position was occupied by Anatol Rusetski.

Uladzimir Tsalko, who previously worked as a deputy Emergency Situations Minister, has been appointed Natural Resources and Environmental protection. Earlier this position was occupied by Lyavontsi Kharuzhyk.

Ivan Shcherba has been appointed Minister of Transport and Communications. Prior to the appointment Ivan Shcherba worked as the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications. The post was previously occupied by Uladzimr Sasnouski.

Aleh Kachan is to head the Sports and Tourism Ministry. Before the appointment Aleh Kachan held the post of the head of the department for physical education, sports and tourism of the Minsk regional executive committee, and the ministry was headed by Alyaksandr Hryhorau.

The State committee on science and technologies has been headed by Ihar Vojtau.

Lukashenka has also appointed Andrei Hiro Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Belarus to Germany, and approved the appointment of Vital Saladukha Director General of “Integral” research and manufacturing association and director of the unitary enterprise “Semiconductor devices plant”.
