7 Square participants to stand trial together

Court proceedings in the cases of the participants of December 19 events have been speeded up and they would be carried out on a mass scale.

The criminal case of the persons charged with mass riots: presidential candidates Dzmitry Uss, Mikalai Statkevich, participants of the protest rally on Indepednence Square on December 19, 2010 Andrei Paznyak, Alyaksandr Klaskouski, Alyaksnadr Kvyatkevich, Artsyom Hrybko and Dzmitry Bulanau are to be tried in the court of Leninski district of Minsk, Vyasna human rights centre informs.

The date of the court has not been scheduled yet, however it is known that the court trial is to be presided by Liudmila Hrachova.

We remind that a few days ago the Prosecutor’s Office of Minsk forwarded the criminal cases of Syarhei Martsaley, Paval Sevyarynets and Iryna Khalip to Minsk city court to determine their territorial jurisdiction.
