CSTO countries preparing for popular uprisings

In Kazakhstan military exercise is taking place, where the CSTO troops are exterminating street riots in a hypothetical country C.

The press-secretary of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO) Uladzimir Zainedzinau describes a scenario of the exercise as follows: “A crisis arose in a hypothetical country C caused by international extremist and terroristic organizations. Mass disturbances started in the country with attacks on commercial centers and shops. Police turned out helpless, that is why the head of the state asked Collective Security Treaty Organisation for help”, - Radio Svaboda Reports.

Peace makers from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan are participating in the military exercise.

On 15 October the next stage of the exercise starts, the active one. In its course the CSTO troops will learn to separate conflicting parties and take control over armistice conditions.
