Valer Bulhakau fined 500,000 rubles

The revenue from sales of Arche magazine (875,000 rubles) was seized.
The decision was taken by the Hrodna regional economic court. Valer Bulhakau was charged with “illegal business activity”, Radio Svaboda reports.
He came to Hrodna on September 14 to present a new book by historian Yan Shumski from Arche magazien series “Sovietization of Western Belarus”.
Tax officers came to the presentation and made a “test purchase”. They then seized about 200 copies of magazines and books that didn't have bills.
