Lukashenka sends Myasnikovich to “lick mould”

The ruler came down on the prime minister over preparation of Horki town for the harvest festival.

Sources from the presidential administration inform that the ruler “talked” to the head of the cabinet of ministers in his usual manner. This time, Alyaksandr Lukashenka's critical remarks were caused by the quality of new municipal facilities in the town of Horki,” Belorusski Partizan reports.

Lukashenka was indignant over the ruining buildings recently built for the harvest festival.

Lukashenka was shown photos of a new dormitory with walls covered with mould. The building was put into service only a month ago. Lukashenka shouted on Mikhail Myasnikovich and demanded to “lick the mould”. “How can this bungle of construction workers be explained? At first it was a sinkhole in the pavement. Now I hear that mould grows in the new dormitory. People are angry. We poured almost 300 million dollars into Horki development  and now this fungus eats everything? You reported to me weekly about the work. Where is the result now? Guests have left and everything can go hang now? Go to Horki right now. If you cannot build, you and governor will lick this mould and lay paving slabs again. I have the impression it's time for the government to resign. Report about the reasons for the bungle on construction sites by the end of the week. All people guilty should be punished severely,” a source quotes Lukashenka.

It should be reminded than new paving slabs were washed out by rain in Horki. The amphitheatre also fell victim to weather. One can only guess how Horki, the town that hosted the harvest festival in September, will look after winter.
