The criminal case against the journalist Petrushenko has closed

Journalist Nikolai Petrushenko had received a notice of termination of the criminal prosecution.
Vitsebsk regional office of the Investigative Committee has closed a criminal case against Mikalai Petrushenka under Art. 369 of the Criminal Code (“insulting a representative of the authorities”).
The official decision to drop the charges was issued by investigator S. Sakharava and refers to the results of a linguistic examination conducted by the experts of Vitsebsk State Pedagogic University. The experts say there were no elements of an insult in Mikalai Petrushenka’s article published in Internet.
