Charhinets to take closer look at Marilyn Manson concert organizers

The Council of Morality led by chairman of the Union of Writers of Belarus plans to give more attention to organizers of concerts of such bands like Marilyn Manson.
The band, which is considered to be one of the most scandalous groups of nowadays, is expected to play a gig at Minsk's Palace of Sport on December 22. This is the day of apocalypse according to the Mayan calender, which possibly became a reason for the increased attention of elderly guardians of morality. They have been trying to ban the concert since summer, Narodnaya Volya newspaper reports.
Marlinym Manson will play 25 concerts in Europe, including Moscow, Kyiv, Ekaterinburg and Ufa, but only Minsk wants to be holier than the Pope. Charhinets's attempts to forbid entrance to Belarus for the scandalous American band and its leader seem to have failed. So he decided to fight not against musicians, but against organizers of such concerts.
“This person is on the verge. Art is supposed to give people something. You can like it or not. But if it is an unhidden mockery of morality... Taking into account that such concerns are attended as a rule by children of 13-14-16 years old, who like it, my dear friends, we should to think about it. I say as a representative of the Council of Morality that we will take a closer look not at such musicians, but at organizers of such concerts. Let them think what a pill they want to offer our people,” Mikalai Charhinets said to journalists.
