Young activist Yulia Styapanava shared her impressions of the film with charter97.org website:
“The film was shot by women about women. It's important to record such things. The movie shows the women who took to streets on December 19, 2010. They talk about their feelings to their children, husbands and fathers, who were arrested and imprisoned. I'd like to thank the authors of the film for the opportunity to express my thoughts, for reminding people about the events on December 19, 2010.”
The film “The Square. Women” shows Maryna Lobava, Alyona Dubovik, Tatyana Sevyarynets, Lyudmila Mirzayanava, Natallya Pinchuk, Valyantina Alinevich and others.
