Lukashenka's spokesman leaves for Russia

Pavel Lyohki, the head of Lukashenka's press service, has been appointed adviser at the embassy of Belarus in Russia.
According to Narodnaya Volya newspaper, this decision is provided for by decree of the Council of Ministers of Belarus No. 957 of October 22. The document was registered in the National Register of Legal Acts of Belarus, but hasn't been published officially.
Lyohki declined to give comments to BelaPAN on his appointment. He just said he would appear at work in the Presidential Administration “tomorrow as well as today”.
Pavel Lyohki has been heading Lukashenka's press service since 2003 having replaced Dzmitry Zhuk, who was appointed editor of state-run information agency BelTA. Lukashenka used to have a press secretary. The last person on this position (until 2004) was Natallya Pyatkevich.
Narodnaya Volya's sources say after Uladzimir Makei was moved from the Presidential Administration to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, even Makei's driver was given a job in one of European embassies.
