Surikov: All figures are recorded, obligations must be fulfilled

Russia expects Belarus to supply about 6 million tonnes of oil products from Russian oil by the end of 2012.
The Belarusian side has such obligations under the energy balance of the Russian-Belarus “union state”” for 2012.
Russian ambassador to Belarus Alexander Surikov said this in an interview with PRIME TASS information agency.
“The Russian side has been following the schedule of oil and oil products supplies. Shipments for a period of nine months even exceeded the approved balance. But we don't see supplies of oil products from Belarus to Russia. Prices in the Russian market began to go up. About 6 million tonnes were supposed to be returned from Belarus to the Russian market, but according to Belarusian statistics, only 98,700 tonnes were returned for six months,” Surikov said.
“All figures were recorded and signed in the balance. Obligations must be fulfilled,” the ambassador added.
Answering a question if it was possible to increase Russian oil supplies to Belarus from 21 million tonnes in 2012 to 23 million tonnes in 2013 as Belarus wants, Surikov said: “It is a question to be discussed in the context of the energy balance. The issue should be discussed by the union states.”
“Of course, it's time to discuss the energy balance for 2013, because it should be adopted by the end of 2012 at a meeting of the union government,” the ambassador said.
