Lukashenka suggested to introduce an obligatory reference, which would be needed to get from the previous employer.
On 2 October, as onliner.by reports, at the meeting on the issues of improving the administration mechanism in the country’s agriculture, the deputy head of Brest region executive committee Yakau Bukhavetski supported the measure offered by Aliaksandr Lukashenka regarding the introduction of references for employment.
As it is noted in the article, Bukhavetski supported the measure offered by the head of the state regarding the necessity of employees having a reference from the previous employer when applying for a new job: “There is no slightest fear of losing a job. People are switching enterprises way too often. If the obligatory reference is introduced and it is made difficult to get a job without one, then this issue together with material incentives for good work will find its repulse”.
