Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted "political engagement of European parliamentarians."

European MPs are politically biased and divorced from reality, said spokesman for the Foreign Ministry of Belarus Andrei Savinykh as he commented on the recent incident in PACE when a representative of Belarus was asked to leave the meeting of the political committee.

'It shows once again that European MPs are politically biased and divorced from reality. You got an impression that party meetings during the USSR times were not a pure Soviet trademark. We now see it successfully reproduced in PACE,' the Belarusian official said.
