Platform organization closed by court

The Minsk economic court took a decision to close down Platform information and education organization.
A reason to close the human rights organization dealing with compliance with laws in correctional facilities was a claim of the Tax Office of Minsk's Savetski district.
The trial was conducted by judge Aleh Klyuiko. Representatives of the organization say they will appeal against the court decision, Radio Svaboda reports.
We remind that the tax office wanted the organization to be closed due to failure to lodge the tax return on time and failure to inform about the changed address.
