“Suitcase traders” to be resettled far from border? (Video)

The prosecutor's office of the Hrodna region proposes to resettle those caught smuggling far from the border.

The authorities  try to step up fighting against illegal trade. The prosecutor's office of the Hrodna region offers radical measures.

“Criminals should be caught at border checkpoints or in the green channel as they cross the state border. There's work for everyone: the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Security Committee and other bodies,” ONT TV quotes Alyaksandr Bayechka, the chairman of the State Border Committee.

ONT TV channel reports that the prosecutor's office of the Hrodna region proposes to tighten punishment for the offenders living  in the near-border area and resettle them far from the border by judicial means.
