Human rights activist forced to undergo fingerprinting

Raman Kislyak, a human rights activist from Brest, was detained by the traffic police today as a “person hiding from administrative prosecution”.

It was found out that Raman Kislyak was put on the offender database by Brest's Leninski district police department for failure to undergo fingerprinting.

“I was detained earlier to make me undergo fingerprinting. They even twisted my arms. I then applied to a prosecutor's office complaining about the incident. They didn't touch me for some time. I was fingerprinted this time, otherwise I would be banned from leaving the country. It would completely blocked my activity,” Raman Kislyak told charter97.org.
