Computer got broken after police examination

The department of the Investigation Committee in Orsha returned a computer and flash drives to Ihar Kazmerchak, the editor of independent website orsha.eu.

The equipment was seized from him during the search on July 17, Viasna human rights centre reports.

The reason for the seizure was suspicions that the website orsha.eu contained a link to a site, which contained pornographic materials. The examination didn't prove this version and Kazmerchak received his computer back after 5 months. But the computer appeared to be broken.

Ihar Kazmerchak says the computer doesn't boot and needs repair. It is unknown how much it will cost.
